Serve Aurora is on June 27. We will be working with an organization called, The Family Tree, in Aurora.
According to their website, "Family Tree is a non-profit human services agency providing innovative, life-changing services designed to end child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness."
We will have two service projects at The Family Tree:
The first is repair of a porch corral described as a hands-on project focused on painting and repairing outdoor corrals (wood repair, fresh paint, general improvements) with a visible impact.
The second is a community BBQ and service day described as combining a service project (cleaning, organizing, light outdoor work) with a BBQ for residents.
We need 24 volunteers. Anyone can participate as long as they are 11 years old or older and are physically able to do so. Sign up to volunteer by clicking on the link above.
